ABOUT MAGGIE

 WELCOME

 

      Hello! I'm Maggie Edwards, an aspiring photographer originally from Troy, Alabama, but moved to Santa Rosa Beach, Florida in 2013. Now back in Troy, I'm pursuing a Marketing degree at Troy University. 
      My interest in photography began in elementary school when YouTube was just emerging, and I dreamed of becoming a “YouTuber.” I got my first camcorder and started filming right away, even though I was just 9 and not very skilled. My friends and I created makeup tutorials, fashion shows, and even included my dog in the fun! In middle school, my parents gifted me a digital camera, and I became hooked, capturing moments with friends on weekends. In high school, I took Photography Honors and AP Photography, where my teacher, Dr. Komando, played a significant role in shaping my artistic journey. Her encouragement pushed me to reach my full potential, and my love for photography continues to grow as I look forward to my future in this field.
